Bioburden Testing of Non-Sterile Products

To support bioburden testing of raw materials, water and end products, MilliporeSigma provides culture media prepared according to the corresponding harmonized methods set out in the European, US and Japanese Pharmacopeias.

Specialized culture media are available for determining the absence of specified microorganisms according to European Pharmacopeia, chapter 2.6.13 and US pharmacopeia, chapter <62>. MilliporeSigma’s range comprises:

Solid Culture Media

• 90 mm LI (Long Incubation) plates for the test for specified microorganisms
• in bottles and tubes for Pour-Plate-Method and maintenance of stock cultures

Liquid Media

• in a selection of bottles and tubes for enrichment cultures
