      Description
OverviewRecombinant, human PP2Cα fused to a His•Tag® sequence and expressed in E. coli. A Mn2+- or Mg2+-dependent protein serine/threonine phosphatase that is essential for regulating cellular stress response, gene expression and replication in eukaryotes. Recently it has been shown that PP2Cα inhibits cell growth and activates the p53 pathway.
