Elemental selenium can be recovered by first oxidizing the salts in aqueous solution with concentrated Nitric acid (Cat.No. 100443). The addition of Sodium hydrogen sulfite solution (Item No. 806356) then causes elemental selenium to precipitate out. Aqueous phase: Container D.
