A synthetic, cell-permeable, cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK) inhibitor (IC50 = 1 µM) that is structurally similar to Olomoucine (Cat. No. 495620) and Roscovitine (Cat. No. 557360). Arrests cell cycle in the G1/S boundary and activates in vitro matured bovine oocytes either alone or in combination with Ionomycin (Cat. Nos. 407950 and 407952).

DescriptionA synthetic, cell-permeable, cyclin-dependent kinase (Cdk) inhibitor (IC50 = 1 µM) that is structurally similar to Olomoucine (Cat. No. 495620) and Roscovitine (Cat. No. 495620). Arrests cell cycle in the G1/S boundary and activates matured bovine oocytes either alone or in combination with Ionomycin (Cat. No. 407950 and 407952). Reported to transiently arrest Vicia faba root tip cells at the G1/S and G2/M regulatory points and causes abnormal spindle formation.
