New ISOSLIDE® AFB and Congo Red Control Slides for Histology
With high quality ISOSLIDE® control slides, you’ll have no question about the validity of your histological staining procedures. Simply compare your preparations with the control tissue specimens to be positive of your results.
Confirmation of AFB, such as Mycobacteria, can be complicated by critical specimen conditions or low bacterial count. New ISOSLIDE® AFB control slides are specially prepared to give you greater security in your results and diagnostics. One slide is pre-stained with TB-color, and serves as a positive control for the detection of Mycobacteria in histological tissue. The remaining 24 slides are unstained paraffin sections
Technical issues, such as low amyloid content in the sample material, or an excessively thin paraffin section, can make visualization of amyloids a serious challenge in histology. ISOSLIDE® Congo red control slides help you avoid uncertainty by providing you with a reliable comparison. The box contains one positive control slide, which is pre-stained with Congo red acc. to Highman, as well as 24 unstained preparations.
ISOSLIDE® products are CE certified, IVD registered, and come with comprehensive documentation. So they not only support your investigation, but also streamline lab accreditation and audits. For further security, all the slides in one box are produced from the same block of animal tissue.
ISOSLIDE® control slides are available for a variety of staining methods. Find the complete portfolio on: www.emdmillipore.de
