Dr. Danny Galbraith is the Head of Product Characterization and New Services and is responsible for both strategy development and R&D growth. Dr. Galbraith started his career in the Contract Research Market in 1996, after 5 years in academic post-doctoral research. After almost ten years of working with vaccines, regulations, and biologics, Dr. Galbraith started a new company that focused on the development of novel assay technologies to better understand new drugs. Dr. Galbraith holds a BSc in Microbiology from the University of Glasgow, an MSc Forensic Science from the University of Strathclyde, and a PhD in immunological and molecular biology studies at the University of Abertay.

Dr. Piotr Kaczmarek joined the organization 2013 to focus on the execution and development of analytical assays. He earned his MSc and PhD in Chemistry at the Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Wroclaw in Poland. He completed his postdoctoral training at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, MA and the National Cancer Institute in Frederick, MD.

Agata Burzawa is a cell-based assay scientist who earned her Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Biotechnology from Wroclaw University of Technology, Poland. She previously worked for a pharmaceutical company that developed biosimilar therapeutic monoclonal antibodies. She designed, executed, and supervised similarity and comparability assessment programs for biosimilar products. In addition, she generated quality target product profiles, completed degradation studies, and characterized and established a biosimilar primary working standard.

Dr. Pamela Hamill joined the organization in 2011 to provide scientific, technical and regulatory oversight for immunological and cell-based assays. Pamela earned Honors and Master’s degrees in Biological Science, and a PhD in Virology from the University of Glasgow. She completed her post-doctoral studies at the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, where she researched innate immune responses to infection, the immuno-modulatory properties of novel host defense peptides, and developed new fluorescence-based assays enabling the detection and analysis of the activity of viral protease enzymes.

Dr. Helen Hsu joined the organization in 2017, bringing 10 years of experience in biochemistry, analytical and synthetic chemistry, including biosensor development and surface plasmon resonance assays. She completed her PhD in chemistry at Massey University, New Zealand and completed her postdoctoral research at Durham University. While there she worked on inorganic chemistry projects involving analyses of OLED materials and investigation of potential high quantum efficiency iridium complexes for imaging and sensing systems.

Dr. Ludmila Kelly joined the organization in 2015 providing scientific and technical expertise in immunology, cell biology, and assay development. Ludmila completed her PhD in Developmental Biology at Mendel University of Agriculture and Forestry (Brno, Czech Republic) in the Laboratory of Molecular Embryology. She completed her first postdoctoral fellowship at the Laboratory of Molecular and Cellular Biology in the Ecole Normale Superieure de Lyon in France and her second postdoctoral fellowship at the Laboratory of Immune Cell Biology in the National Cancer Institute at NIH. She previously worked as a research fellow in the National Cancer Institute at NIH and developed assays to evaluate drug leads for submission to the FDA.

Dr. Deepa Raghu joined the organization in 2017 and has expertise in surface plasmon resonance assay development. She completed her PhD in experimental biophysics at George Washington University and completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the National Institutes of Health decoding the fusion pore structure in cells using microscopy and electrophysiology techniques. Previously she was a national research council fellow at the US Naval Research Laboratory where she was involved in the development of nanoplasmonic sensors for detecting biomolecules from live cells, characterizing single domain antibodies using surface plasmon resonance, and serving as a liaison to other agencies for special research initiatives.

She has 25+ years in the Pharmaceutical and Science & Technology industries encompassing method development and validation for small and large molecules. She holds a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Edinburgh and an MSc in Pharmaceutical Analysis and Quality Control from King’s College in London.
