EMD Millipore’s high-quality, chemically defined cell culture media are primarily for the cultivation of mammalian cell cultures. We tailor our cell culture media and feeds to your exact formulations, and our state-of-the-art cGMP production facilities can supply homogeneous blends in batches of up to 3 tons.

The components for our cell culture media are non-animal in origin, and are based on our established EMPROVE® standard wherever possible. We manufacture many components ourselves, or source them from manufacturers selected according to best practice in raw material qualification and sourcing requirements. This gives us control over the raw materials employed, enabling maximum consistency for your cell culture media.

Prepared to perform: first proprietary cell culture medium Cellvento™ CHO-100
Designed for superior performance in cell growth and cell production, Cellvento™ CHO-100 is the first proprietary cell culture medium for CHO cell line applications to be produced by EMD Millipore. The media was developed especially for CHO cell lines but may also be suitable for other cell lines types. Available from September 2012, this chemically-defined, non-animal origin medium combines high lot-to-lot consistency with consistent growth and performance profiles and outstanding regulatory documentation.
