 Detection of human IRS-1, phosphorylated at Ser<sup>616</sup>, by immunoblotting. Samples: Whole cell lysate from CHO-T cells mock transfected and treated with TPA (lanes 1,4), transiently transfected with wild-type human IRS-1 (lanes 2, 5), or transiently transfected with mutant human IRS-1 (S616A lanes 3, 6). Primary antibodies: PhosphoDetect™ Anti-IRS-1 (pSer<sup>616</sup>) Rabbit pAb (Cat. No. GF1001) (lanes 1-3) or anti-IRS-1 pan antibody (lanes 4-6) (0.50 µg/ml). Detection: chemiluminescence. |
