Recombinant, Xenopus p34Cdk1/cyclin B1 expressed in S. frugiperda insect cells. This kinase is a major regulator of the eukaryotic cell cycle at the G2/M transition level. As a monomer, p34cdk1 is inactive and requires association with cyclin B to form an active complex. Suitable for in vitro phosphorylation studies. MW = 34000 (p34cdk1) and 58000 (cyclinB1).
