The Mobius™ 500 pET Plasmid Kit is a special configuration Mobius kit designed for "maxi" scale preparations of pET and other plasmids having a low-copy (≤ 40 copies per cell) origin of replication. Up to 500 µg ultrapure plasmid can be isolated from 500 ml bacterial culture using Mobius anion exchange chromatography. Columns, buffers, and purification protocol are optimized for the larger-scale cultures required for low-copy plasmids.
