Recombinant, rat MAP Kinase 2 fused to a His•Tag® sequence and expressed in E. coli. Highly active form of MAP kinase that is produced by phosphorylating non-activated MAP Kinase (Cat. No. 454852) in vitro with a constitutively active MEK mutant. Suitable for labeling MAP kinase substrates. Also useful for inhibitor screening and microinjection.
