The MagPrep® Silica Particles are designed for rapid isolation of genomic DNA or leukocytes. The beads have a diameter of 100 nm and are provided as a aqueous suspension of 50 mg/ml. The small size of the beads ensures that they remain suspended in solution during the binding process and the high magnetite content (> 95%) allows rapid separation from the aqueous phase using a magnet.
