Recombinant, human Flt-3/Flk-2 ligand expressed in S. frugiperda insect cells. Stimulates the proliferation of hematopoietic cells by binding and activating Flt-3/Flk-2 receptor tyrosine kinase. Induces proliferation of primitive haematopoietic cells in conjunction with other growth factors. Amino acid sequence reveals human and mouse FL are 72% identical. Shares structural similarities with SCF and M-CSF.
