The ColonyFinder® Immunoscreening Kit is
used to screen bacterial expression libraries
with mouse monoclonal antibodies. Colony
lifts are prepared as usual with nitrocellulose
or PVDF membranes. The kit provides
components for denaturing the colonies to
expose cellular proteins, blocking buffers,
Anti-Mouse IgG AP Conjugate and AP
colorimetric detection reagents. Clones
expressing epitopes recognized by mouse
antibodies can be easily
detected in several
hours. A Positive Control
Clone expressing the
HSV•Tag® epitope
and corresponding
monoclonal antibody are
also included to verify
performance.
