A cell-permeable fluorescent probe that can cross the blood-brain barrier. Specifically binds to and labels intracellular amyloid-β aggregates both in vitro (Ki = 400 nM) and in vivo. Useful as an antemortem diagnostic tool for animal models of Alzheimer’s disease.
