An acid-labile resin for the preparation of substituted acetic acids. Release of the product can be effected with 1-5% TFA in DCM containing 5% TIS or with 30% HFIP in DCM.
This resin may have similar applications to bromoacetic acid attached to Wang resin, which has been utilized in the traceless synthesis of cyclopropanecarboxylates [1] and tricyclic isoxazolines [2].
