A cell-permeable, lactam-based deoxyepothilone A analog that promotes tubulin polymerization in vitro. Reported to inhibit proliferation in KB-31 (IC50 = 464 nM) and KB-8511 (IC50 = 285 nM) human cancer cell lines. Exhibits improved metabolic stability and enhanced solubility.
