A cell-permeable, reversible, substrate competitive inhibitor of epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase activity (IC50 = 2.4 µM). Blocks HT-29 colon cancer cell proliferation and induces non-apoptotic cell death. Inhibits capacitative Ca2+ entry into cells.
