Full-length, recombinant, human 4EBP1 fused at the N-terminus to a His•Tag® sequence and expressed in S. frugiperda insect cells. 4EBP1 negatively regulates translation and is inhibited by p70S6K phosphorylation. 4EBP1 is useful as a substrate in the study of p70S6K regulation and inhibitor screening.
