Moisture is the enemy
Dried solvents are very sensitive to water. It’s essential to keep them free from moisture during storage and use. Although the stainless steel barrel system used for packaging SeccoSolv® dried solvents is extremely effective, it’s a bit difficult to connect. There must be an easier way!
Cumbersome and costly adapters – who needs them?
An adapter was required for connection with the old barrel system. It took up a lot of space and required very careful handling. In addition, it was quite expensive. We solved these problems by redesigning the barrel – getting rid of the adapter entirely. Instead of using an adapter, quick connectors enable connection of gas supply and solvent withdrawal tubes directly to the rim of the new fully sealed barrel.
Custom options
Currently, Acetonitrile and DMSO are offered in the new fully sealed 30 L system. Need another packaging size like 10 or 185 L? Interested in one of our other SeccoSolv® dried solvents packed in the new fully sealed barrel system?
