Extran® Manual Cleaning
When diluted with water, the extran® manual powser and liquid concentrates clean by themselves without leaving residues, even on difficult to reach surfaces (e.g., inside pipettes).
extran® liquid concentrates when diluted (2% - 5% - 20%) and begins cleaning as soon as the objects to be cleaned are immersed in the cleaning bath. A 2% solution of most extran® detergents will remove residues generated during routine laboratory analysis.
For best results, objects to be cleaned should remain immersed in an extran cleaning bath for 2-24 hours depending on the degree of contamination. For routine laboratory applications, no scrubbing is required once objects are removed from the extran® detergent cleaning bath. After removal from the cleaning bath, items should be rinsed immediately with distilled water.
Using ultrasonic and/or heating the cleaning solution up to 50°C can reduce the time required for cleaning to less than 2 hours.
