Community Awareness and Response (CAER) Code:
This Code focuses on enhancing the relationship between the chemical industry and local communities through active communication and cooperative emergency planning.
Pollution Prevention:
This Code is intended to support chemical companies in their activities to reduce the amount of contaminants and environmental pollution.
Process Safety:
This Code is aimed at the prevention of accidental chemical releases, fires and explosions through the improvement of safety practices, from process design to continued operation and routine maintenance.
Distribution:
This Code focuses on helping chemical companies reduce risk through the safe distribution of chemicals.
Employee Health and Safety Code:
Purpose of this Code is to protect the health and safety of people working at or visiting an ACC member site.
Product Stewardship Code:
This Code focuses on assuring that products are developed, manufactured, distributed, used, and disposed of in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
Security Code:
The focus of this Code is to help protect people, property, products, processes, information and information systems by enhancing security, including security against potential terrorist attacks, throughout the chemical industry value chain covering the design, procurement, manufacturing, marketing, distribution, transportation, customer support, use, recycle and disposal of products.
