extran® MA02 Neutral Liquid Detergent

This neutral liquid concentrate is the detergent of choice for cleaning alkali sensitive materials such as aluminum, zinc or alloys. extran® MA 02 Detergent is also safe to use on precision instruments made of glass and quartz. Burettes, pipettes and even photometric cells can be immersed in a solution of MA 02 Detergent for a gentle but thorough cleaning. Or, use MA 02 Detergent in your ultrasonic bath for those heavily soiled but delicate items.

MA 02 Detergent is formulated to include anionic and nonionic tensides at a neutral pH. It is halogen free and biodegradable, and it rinses easily, residue free, from cleaned surfaces.

Directions for Use:
Normal Cleaning
Immerse articles for 2 hours in a 2% solution (20ml/liter).
Heavier Contamination
Immerse articles for 2-4 hours in a 5% solution (50ml/liter). If appropriate for articles, combine immersion with sonication for a quicker cleaning.
Dried on or stubborn residues
Immerse articles for 4-24 hours in a 20% solution (200ml/liter). Rub gently with a soft brush or cloth. The solution can be heated to 50°C to reduce required immersion time.
For all types of cleaning, rinse with distilled or deionized water and air dry.
