A protein tyrosine phosphatase inhibitor (IC50 = 18 µM) that enhances growth factor-induced differentiation in PC12 cells possibly by sustaining MAP kinase activity. Can also be used as a protein S-nitrosylating agent. Exhibits greater stability than Dephostatin (Cat. No. 263200).
