      DescriptionAnti-FLII Antibody
      Alternate Names
      • Protein flightless-1 homolog
      • FLII
Background InformationProtein flightless-1 homolog encoded by the gene names FLII or FLIL, has a gelsolin-like actin binding domain and an N-terminal leucine-rich repeat-protein protein interaction domain.is involved in estrogen hormone signaling and early embryonic development. FLII is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm and co-localizes to actin-rich structures in blastocytes. FLII is highly expressed in skeletal muscle with high expression also in the heart and lung. Mutations in FLI1 defects have been associated with Ewing sarcoma (ES).
