DescriptionAnti-EPHB3, clone EPR8280, Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody
      Alternate Names
      • Ephrin type-B receptor 3
Background InformationEphrin type-B receptor 3, also known as EPH-like tyrosine kinase 2 (EPH-like kinase 2) or Embryonic kinase 2 (EK2 or hEK2) or Tyrosine-protein kinase TYRO6, and encoded by the gene name EPHB3 or ETK2 or HEK2 or TYRO6, is a receptor tyrosine kinase which binds promiscuously transmembrane ephrin-B family ligands residing on adjacent cells, leading to contact-dependent bidirectional singnaling into neighboring cells. EPHB3 autophosphorylates upon ligand binding. EPHB3 controls other aspects of development through regulation of cell migration and positioning.
