      OverviewSmartFlare is a fluorescent reagent that when added to live cells enables sequence-specific mRNA and microRNA's expression detection at single cell resolution – which can reveal new insights that lysed methods giving bulk average measurements may hide. The probes do not harm the live cells allowing researchers to not only identify cells expressing biomarkers of interest, but also enrich and sort cells based on individual expression levels through FACS. Additionally, treatment of cells with SmartFlare is compatible with downstream functional analysis, especially important for preserving precious samples.
