          Description
          OverviewA cell-permeable pyrimidine compound that potently induces the differentiation of ESCs (embryonic stem cells) into cardiomyocytes (EC50 = 100 nM) without significant cytotoxic effect even at concentrations as high as 25 µM. The induction of cardiomyogenesis by Cardiogenol C is much more efficient than that achieved by EBs (embryoid bodies) formation and DMSO treatment.
