              Description
              OverviewFlake polyethylene glycol. Has water-adsorptive properties and a solubility of 50% by weight at 20°C.
              Aquacides are useful for concentration of proteins and other macromolecules and can be used for rapid removal of water from dialysis tubing by using either a 2% syrup or the Aquacide solid. Aquacides neither denature proteins nor change the pH during concentration. At room temperature 1 g of Aquacide absorbs about 5 ml of water from solution in 1 h.
