          DescriptionAMIDO BLACK 10 B (C.I. 20470) FOR ELECTR
OverviewThis difference in migration velocities makes it possible to separate human serum protein mixtures into groups of individual components. The separated protein fractions can be stained with Amido black 10 B (C.I. 20470) and measured photometrically or densitometrically. Differentiation of serum proteins by electrophoresis is important for the diagnosis and prognosis of numerous diseases. Changes in protein composition can be found e.g. in inflammatory diseases, tumors, liver diseases, antibody deficiency syndromes or disturbances in protein balance. The dye is an IVD product and CE registered, thus it can be used in diagnostics and for laboratory accreditations.
