Harvest your cells and resuspend in YeastBuster™ protein extraction reagent. Incubate for 15 minutes and then remove cell debris by centrifugation. Your extract is now ready to use! YeastBuster™ reagent delivers greater yields of active proteins in crude extracts. The reagent has been tested for yeast cell lysis with Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Pichia pastoris, P. stipitis, and Schizosaccharomyces pombe strains and with plant cells.
